Rookie RB Torain Carted Off Field

By Jeremy Glasoe | August 6, 2008

Denver Broncos RB Ryan Torain had to be carted off the field after sustaining what appears to be a shoulder injury in today’s run blocking period.

While attempting to run Torain got bumped off balance.  Attempting to regain his balance Torain put his arm on the ground and was hit by Nate Webster and Jamie Winborn.

Torain then fell to the turf holding his shoulder.  Steve Antonopolus helped the injured back off the field.  After “Greek” tended to him for about 10 minutes on the sideline he called for a cart to carry Torain off the field.

Torain has had a good camp so far, lets just hope this is nothing serious.  I will try to keep an update on the situation.  But, it appears he could miss the first game of the preseason game Saturday against the Houston Texans.
