According to Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post, Disgruntled Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall did not participate in a light practice Tuesday morning with Broncos’ rookies, injured players and quarterbacks.
Josh McDaniels is expected to meet with the press after practice. I am positive the reporters will ask plenty of questions pertaining to BMarsh, so stay tuned for updates.
Marshall reported to camp Monday on time and in great shape, but after practice he held court with the press and didn’t look happy to be at Dove Valley.
Linebackers D.J. Williams and Wesley Woodyard each returned to the field after missing Monday’s practice with a flu bug. Woodyard is wearing a brace on his right knee but was running well, without a noticeable limp, in individual drills.
*Update* 7/28/09 1:40 p.m. MDT
Brandon Marshall and Lucas Taylor missed the morning session, which Head Coach Josh McDaniels said was a coaching decision due to soreness.
“There’s no issues whatsoever,” McDaniels. “It was just a decision we made as an organization, and when he’s ready to go and we feel comfortable with that — and I’m talking about both players, Lucas and Brandon — they’ll be out here.”
The morning session was a walkthrough format, and there will be another practice this afternoon from 3-5 p.m. MDT.
