Jay Cutler Jersey Burn Month
By Jeremy Glasoe | August 13, 2009
I came across this video of a young Denver Broncos Fan, that is declaring August Jay Cutler Jersey Burn Month. I think he’s probably a little upset about Cutler’s latest remarks about Denver’s faithful.
“In Denver, we didn’t have this many fans at all,” he said. “We weren’t even able to accommodate that many fans (at practice). That’s Chicago Bears fans for you. They’re proud of their Bears.
“It’s a lot (different). Denver’s like a 6 and Chicago’s like a 9. It’s a quite bit different. Just the fans and how passionate they are, that’s probably the biggest difference.”
“Denver, am I looking forward to it? No. Just the whole hoopla that’s going to come along with it,” he said. “I’m excited to go back and see some of the guys there. I’ve got some really good friends back there, and get back to Denver and see if my house is still standing. Other than that, that’s about all I’m excited about Denver.”
Cutler returns to Denver for the Week 3 preseason game Aug. 30 at Invesco Field at Mile High.

I’m with you and will be burning my jersey at our tailgate party. My daughter bought me the jersey for Christmas, but she understands and will be there with me to burn it.

Come on people, Jay’s not the enemy here. Jay was justified in feeling betrayed by the franchise because he was. And all the crap that has been said about him has been lies. Everything Jay says is under a microscope, and people like you take it the wrong way. I saw Jay give his statement and he never said anything bad about the Denver fans. Come on, Jay has kept quiet and let all the lies be said about him roll off him because he’s a nice guy. But if you were in his shoes I bet you wouldn’t be so forgiving. Jay loved Denver but he was forced out by Bowlen and McDaniels and you expect him to kiss your #$% and still play for the Bears. HELL NO!! The Bears are happy to have a great QB, just as you were when he was a Bronco. So what if he likes being a Bear, you think he owes you something? Well you would be wrong. There are players who beat their girlfriends, drive drunk and kill people, and players who kill dogs for amusement. And out of all of them you choose to trash Jay. WOW you are stupid and a terrible person. You should be ashamed of youself. I know I am. You want to be a Bronco fan then go be one and leave Jay the hell alone you stupid whinny little b#$@#.

Audrey,
I don’t think I misunderstood his comments at all. And his further comments after his very disappointing (for bears) performance in the first pre-season game. He threw his own teammates under the bus calling out Hester in a press conference. Makes Bronco fans feel really good now that he is gone.
Good luck with him Chicago.
Good riddance Jay Cutler
