John Elway To Tie The Knot
Are beloved John Elway is marrying former Raiderette cheerleader Paige Green at his lakeside home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Saturday. All I want to know is, did Paige switch teams?
No seriously, I wish John and Paige all the love and happiness that they deserve. John seems very happy at this point in his life and I am really happy for the legend that is 7.
Elway, 49, met Green, 42, at a golf tourney in LA in 2005. But he didn’t make his move until he saw her again in an info-mercial and tracked her down. She moved to Denver in 2007.
As reported last fall by colleague Penny Parker, Elway popped the question in Venice, Italy last September.
Ok, I can’t help it. What color are the bridesmaids wearing? It’s gotta be Orange, right?

Ten silly things at the wedding (I know most of these are awful, just random thoughts):
1. Will the bride wear a black dress?
2. Think they’ll use super bowl rings instead of gold bands?
3. Will his best man be a Center?
4. Will the preacher wear stripes?
5. Will the crowd be Orange and Blue on the right, Black and Silver on the left?
6. Will the bride throw a severed head to the single girls?
7. Will John correctly line up next to his best man instead of accidentally next to the ring-bearer?
8. Will the bride come down the aisle to the familiar sounds of the Slayer song “Here Comes the Pain”?
9. When the preacher says, “Speak now or forever hold your peace.”, the bride’s dad holds his crotch.
10. When they kiss, it will show up on the jumbo tron as the final “Kiss Kam” photo.
