Interceptions and Steals – 10/14/09

It has been an up and down week, in Colorado Sports. The Denver Broncos stand alone at the top of the AFC West at 5-0, after a thrilling victory over the New England Patriots at Mile High, and play their division rival – San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football this coming week.

On Monday, the Colorado Rockies were ousted from the playoffs in their first round NLDS loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. After a wonderful regular season ride, the team seamed to loose steam in the end, when it really mattered most. Have to give the defending World Champs credit, the Phillies are a great team with a very tough lineup and a never say die attitude.
