The Colorado Rockies and infielder Melvin Mora agreed to a one-year, $1.3-million deal today, and the veteran will serve as a backup at second and third base as well as a right-handed pinch hitter. Carmelo Anthony to miss fourth straight game

Denver Nuggets All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony will miss his fourth consecutive game today when the team takes on the San Antonio Spurs at 11 A.M. MDT on ABC. The Denver Nuggets‘ Chauncey Billups has been named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Jan. 18 through Sunday, Jan. 24.
