Denver Broncos Agree to Terms With Cornerback Nathan Jones
By Jeremy Glasoe | March 5, 2010
The Denver Broncos agreed to terms with CB Nathan Jones on a four-year contract worth up to $13.6 million on Friday. Jones is the 2nd player to come to terms with the Broncos on the first day of free-agency, after defensive lineman Justin Bannan agreed to five-years earlier today.
Jones was selected in the 7th round of the 2004 draft by the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent 4 years before joining the Miami Dolphins in 2008. Last year while with the Dolphins, Jones tallied career best’s in Tackles (45) and Interceptions (2) and should come in and fill the need for a nickelback in the Broncos secondary.
