This past week, the Colorado Rockies agreed to a minor-league contract with 34-year-old second-baseman Kazuo Matsui, who was aprt of the Rockies’ magical run to the World Series in 2007. Chris Andersen has suregery to repair knee

This past Tuesday, the Denver Nuggets’ Chris “Birdman” Andersen underwent surgery on his right knee to repair a partially torn patellar tendon–the same injury that Denver Broncos’ All-Pro left tackle, Ryan Clady, recently sustained by playing the Birdman’s sport, basketball.
